Water-Based (Latex/Acrylic) Paint
Dry it out: Mix equal parts cat litter, sawdust, or a commercial paint hardener into the liquid paint.
Throw it away: Once completely solidified, place the open can in your regular household trash with the lid off.
Oil-Based Paint and Stains
Treat as hazardous waste: Oil-based paints, varnishes, and alkyd products are flammable and cannot go in regular trash.
Take these materials to a hazardous waste facility Contact the Monroe County Solid Waste (Landfill) at (608) 269-8783 for disposal.

The Town of Adrian provides Snow Removal for all non-county roads. Our Crews aim to complete clearing the roads as quickly and efficiently as possible
Road Maintenance
The Town of Adrian along with Monroe County works to maintain and keep our roads in good condition. This includes filling potholes & keeping trees, brush from interfering with the roadway. It is the responsibility of residents to keep trees and brush within their property lines from interfering with roadways*
